Please read these terms before using NeighborComp Ohio.
About this service
NeighborComp Ohio provides general educational information and do-it-yourself valuation complaint packets for Franklin County, Ohio residential properties, built from public Franklin County records. We are a private company, independent of the Franklin County Auditor and the Board of Revision. We do not act as your attorney or representative, we do not file complaints for you, and you are responsible for deciding whether and when to file.
Complaint packets and payment
A packet costs $79, paid once through Stripe's secure checkout. No account is needed. After payment you can download your packet as a PDF from your packet page, and we email you the link. Packets are only offered for homes whose records suggest the county's value may be out of line with similar sales.
Refund promise
If your completed complaint doesn't lower the county's value, we refund you. Submit a request on our Request a Refund page within 12 months of purchase, with your order number, the email used at checkout, and the Board of Revision decision. We review requests by hand and refund to the original payment method. This is separate from any county tax credit or refund.
Your responsibility
You must verify property information, comparison evidence, complaint deadlines, filing requirements, and any final decision with the relevant agency. You review, sign, submit, and follow up on your own complaint. We cannot promise a reduction in value or taxes, and our packet is not a certified appraisal or county-approved evidence.
